Anyone got any experience of replacing the windscreen wipers on a 1987 c4? There’s a good choice on rock auto but I can me ordering something new that doesn’t quite fit right. Or can they be got more easily in the UK?

Try these, I fitted them to my 92, and will be fitting same to my 95, modern blades (beam blades) and give a much better wipe than the old type. Trico 20 inch NF500

Or you can get a full set (not just the rubbers) of Bosch blades at Halfords.
Did that a couple of years back for my own '87.
Got them one inch shorter too as my originals would clash occasionally. £12.99 (or £3.99 to me with my Halfords card).

These aren't just 'the rubbers' they are Beam Blade wipers, like you get on most new cars these days. Much better then the standard fitted blades.

Mine have the complete metal frame and the wee adapters as usual. I just sawed an adapter clip in half and put the wiper on the pin and pushed the clip inside the frame to locate it. 5min job.
