As you can see it needs a lot of TLC as Someone has painted parts yellow unfortunately. A lot of bits are falling off and I have a roof panel missing.
I was wondering if you can get these parts reupholstered as I can't afford to buy everything new.
I have also come across a dark blue interior for sale so I was wondering if I can get that and respray/die the panels and seats with a vinyl die.
Has anyone had any experience with this?
If anyone can recommend an interior specialist in the midlands area that will be helpful.
Thanks in advance.

Jeez! - Rhubarb & Custard!
The correct colour interior for my '68 is black - oddly someone in the past has replaced both door cards with mid blue one and dyed them black - seems to have worked well, very hard wearing although I doubt if suited for seat facings

It depends how good the rest of the car is as to how much you want to spend. I would start off repainting gauge console and shifter plate satin black as per original. The yellow on the seat faces and door panel arm rest area I would first try and remove with plenty of thinners. You can buy all the corvette interior colours in an aerosol.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, whoever did it like that must have thought it looked brilliant.
I do agree with you though, looks awful :)

Is anyone aware of any interior differences between 74to 75? And if the interior of a convertable will fit a T Top? Obviously all the roof trims won't be there!

I agree with the consensus. Yikes!

My only assist here is to emphasize the importance of surface preparation before painting. Cleanliness is next to godliness. (y)

Thank you! I've just managed to get all of this for a bargain so I may have to see how it looks with the maroon body first as it's in fantatsic condition. I would have to dye the roof and rear panels to much but it's a great start. Thanks for the advice!

If you're not going to stick to a totally pure stock rebuild, two tone seating and trim is the way to go. Good luck with re-build.
