I went to my first National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC) Conference in 2017 in Bowling Green Kentucky. I was surprised to get this!!!

Above Toronto? I see a bit breezy, at least it's fresh water vs. salt water, even that mist would mess up the chrome.

For those with an interest in the older cars, this particular C2 sits lower than a C6 (edited for accuracy). Doesn't look like it from the front, but notice the roof height.

In fact, it also sits almost 4" lower than a stock C2 Corvette. See the arrows pointing to the signal lights, or compare bumper heights.
1965 small-block on left. 1967 big-block on right.

Oh, and it's also 6" wider than other C2s. Not just the wheels...the body. The rear wheel-wells cover 12" of tire tread on either side. 10.5" tread on the front. Compare that to the original 1967 bias ply tires which were a mere 5.25" of tread width per side. In the following photo, the '67 on top; and a '65 with factory wheels and tires at the bottom. There are several other things to notice under there, for those with some technical knowledge about these classic Corvettes. :)

One more thing. My '67 is now 250 lbs lighter than your typical C2 big-block. That, combined with 8.2L of brute force makes for an interesting ride.

No problem, not that you're getting old or anything, but that's what I've been doing of late............who am I, where am I at.......
