Re: ZR1 Dubai Debut

Shame they can't use that engine in the C7R for the TUSCC or Le Mans. Will that new nose feature on the race cars though, Mr Dobbie???

I guess its available for sale in Dubai, even if not in Europe? No doubt the chief market will be 65+ year old Americans who barely exceed the 55mph limit... Rolling Eyes Very Happy

I'm afraid its not top of my wish list though.......

Good point re why a Dubai launch? (because they aren't selling it in Europe)

750BHP and Paddle Shift now we are talking, love the treatment to the front nose area, shame that was not done for the standard C7 to give it the more aggressive look.

I was hoping that for the ZR1 they would treat us to Dual Rounds at the rear, after all the C4 ZR1 had a change to the rear optics and it would have pleased the old die hards like me.

Still can't find the love for the C7 shape.. Scratchchin

For me, its just too fussy, non aggressive and none of the lines seem to flow. Never really been a fan of wild looking 'supercars' anyway apart from maybe a Muira..

Four cars that really push my buttons are, ..'70 Barracuda, the 289 Cobra, '63 Ferrari GTO and Corvette C2/C3's (with chrome bumpers back and front of course) ..blinkered I know, but its probably an age thing.

This is how it could have been..

Newbie here (My first post) -

Is it definitive that the ZR1 (2019 MY) isn't going to be available in Europe? Who says?
