Yes, loved my alcantara & leather Momo Nero wheel on my '85 (now sadly gone). But, you have encouraged me to get my arse in gear, and fit that SoCal GarageWorks wheel for the C6 that's been sitting on the sofa for 4 months. Laughing

Mines the one on the bottom left, yellow stitched with yellow top marker. They also do the wheel for a C5 (4 spoke)).

Now that's a 'Hunky Chunky' Wheel Peter ..... Pleased it Motivated you to getting on with it ....... 4 Months! lol ...... NO Excuses,,,,Crack On! I remember Popping off the Airbag on my First C6 Auto to Mod the wiring to give 6 up on the right and 6 down on the left Rather than either side Paddles selected a downshift and the Thumb Shifts Selected an Upshift ...... it very nearly put me thru the Windscreen on several Occasions as I selected Right to Change up .....and Hurtled to a Sudden Halt! HaHa
The New A8 is ahead of all that now Tho ......Eh! and it changes Gears in Milliseconds

Thanks Ken, Well I have looked on YouTube and looks a fairly easy/simple job to change the wheel, and you don't need a "wheel puller." But, as you mention, I am probably gonna need some panel tools to avoid damaging the plastic bits?

Yes a Plastic Trim Removal tool set off Ebay... I think mines a 5 piece ... in Orange with various bends ...... place one in a side as you pop the springs retaining the Airbag and Horn to Save it re attaching itself .... I used a small Torx Driver to push into the holes on the reverse of the wheel to release the retaining clips whilst gently prying the airbag with one of the Trim Tools when it pops push in abit and leave that in place and use another for the other side whilst again feeling with the Torx Driver to release the Spring on the other side
When it comes to removing the wheel Nut turn the wheel fully to the left prior to using your Socket and Lever Bar. There's a Plastic Circular piece behind the wheel called the Clock Spring Leave that in Situ
I should say disconnect the Battery some 10 mins before you Start in case the Airbag goes off in your Face .....That would Not be Good Peter
