Midlands-ish Breakfast Club Meeting - July

Calendar Event: 08 Jul 8:30 am

Midlandsish Breakfast Club Meeting

A casual gathering for all Corvette enthusiasts (irrespective of Club Membership or region) who are based around the Midlands, will take place on Sunday 8th July

Note that the regular meeting for July (only) has been moved back by one week to avoid a clash with the CCCUK Nationals, being held in Bedford on the 30th June and 1st July.

Please note that this event is not the official CCCUK (South Central) Regional Monthly meeting, which will take place at the same venue on the second Thursday of the month, throughout the summer (see separate threads for details of that meeting)

Breakfast Club meets at the Punchbowl, Solihull, (Lapworth) Warwickshire B94 6HR

http://www.punchbowllapworth.co.uk/

A lovely country Pub, Inn and Eatery - good food - nice atmosphere - ample parking, which is very well situated for the M6, M42 and M40 and not too far from the M5 corridor.

Join your fellow enthusiasts for Breakfast on a beautiful Sunday morning. What more of an excuse do you need to get that Vette out of the garage?

Breakfast served from 8.30am to 10.15am

For those wanting to stay a little longer, lunch is served from midday, but booking with the venue (direct) is strongly recommended

Can you please post on here or PM me if you are intending to come for the Breaky Meet this Sunday, so I can let the Punchbowl know so they can cater for us.

At the moment 15 reprobates, 7 Vettes and 1 Cadillac with a small contingent then making their way down to Blenheim for the Rally of the Giants.

Any other Vette Heads making their way to Blenheim you are most welcome to join us for a good Breaky at the Punchbowl Lapworth.

Just post here, or PM me

Re: Midlands-ish Breakfast Club Meeting - July

Another great Breaky meet, Graham and Julie left the Vettes at home and arrived in the 1960 2 door Pillar less Coupe de Ville, not just in Black, but in a Black base with a rainbow coloured metal flake - they went on to Blenheim - I swear if they both were wearing bandanas on their Heads with a smile on their faces, they would be searched fpr drugs on entering Blenheim - What a picture - takes you back to the 60's and "Flower Power"

The other star of the day was Mick who left the 69 427 Vert at home and arrived in the super quick Mini Van that he had built - 5 speed, widened, lowered, discs all round, powered by an MG TF, with a dummy "Pee Shooter" exhaust, lift the bonnet to view the front mounted radiator and fuel tank, the MG TF lump is situated in the rear, behind a windowed bulkhead with added roll tubes for protection.

What a day!
