At this moment in time there is no need to delete this post. At the risk of repeating myself........it was my judgement as CCCUK Chairman (and, unknown to Jack Concorde/the majority of our members) that as I already knew about this vehicle and the story of its existence and that it would soon be for sale. My decision was to allow this post to continue for two reasons -
A. To help a widow dispose of her late husbands car (much as we did for the widow of one of Dart Corvette's cars)
B. To allow a CCCUK member potentially the chance to buy what seems to be a unique C6Z06.
Jack contacted me and assured me that in response for the help that the club had given he would pay for himself and the widow to join the club.
Can I also tell you that one of our CCCUK members has anonymously offer to pay for Jack and the widow to join the club - an offer that they thanked us profusely for but declined, preferring to 'pay their own way'.
I see that Jack was looking to delete his posts earlier - don't know why - unnecessary as I hope most of us will agree - if for any reason he has changed his mind about joining then I will delete the thread,

Come on guys. It doesn't reflect well on the club when people start being petty and insensitive.

Re: 2007 C6 ZO6, Manual.

Thanks for the welcome message folks..
I've been kind of busy the last few days, so wasn't able to visit the Forum.
Yes, as Ross said, the car will be up for sale as soon as possible. It is having the Brembo brakes & the new clutch fitted (which seems to be taking a while, as a BMW mechanic is doing it in his spare time).
After that, a good valet clean, as it's been in storage for quite a while. Then, hopefully, it can find a new home!
