Corvette Fever Magazine.

Has anybody got a subscription to this magazine in the UK? We took out a subscription online in July this year and still no sign of anything through the post. We tried emailing them to ask if theyknow where it might be, but no reply - they did manage to take the money for it within a few weeks (as they do!). Can anybody advise???

They do take an inordinate amount of time to set up new subscriptions. But, I had a subscription with CF for over 12 years and finally let it lapse in 2008 because of continuing problems with the subscription. I managed to get it sorted once by going directly to the editor at the time, Alan Colvin [Alan.Colvin@primedia.com] as he had contacted me re a Le Mans attendance. Tom Falconer writes for CF, but alas, I don't think he has any "sway" in the subscription dept! I think I have phoned them sometimes and looking back over emails I see I had to use a "gmail" account as, like so many insular US ISPs, theirs would not accept emails from ISPs with suffixes like .fr!

Oh, and surely you mean 48? Laughing Although Mrs kentvette is firmly in the 24 camp.

Thanks for information Stephen will leave the issue until the end of the month and then try again to give CF the hurry up. If still no sign then maybe Tom can give a lead.

Not the 48 it is the 47 ( Australia's finest ). The 47 is in his third season and it takes that long to master the tracks, always a good road racer he has had good results on short track and superspeedways this year, the 42 has come good as well for the same reason. Am very impressed that you are aware of what the numbers mean, I thought I was a lone voice in the wilderness that is Pomland.

Have you listened to Mid Week Motorsport, on radiolemans.com? Wednesday night, 8:00pm UK time. Especially Declan Brennan!

I think Marcos would be higher up if he'd been less "respectful" early in the season? I had high hopes for the 42. Alas, a few unlucky breaks, not to mention the occasional "rub"! He manged to avoid "Dangerous Denny" Ramthem in the 11, unlike "our boy" Jeff Sad I'll say nothing about Jr, except maybe, he's not his father! Wink

No I haven't listened to it but will this week, thanks for that. Marcos had to give respect as a new boy but he is a racer. After all he is an Oz Supercar double champ and ran a superb race at the Bristol bullring in August, Bristol is not for the faint hearted. Have to follow Jr. because of his Dad and there is / was nobody like him. 88 and 47 1st and 2nd at Phoenix today / tonight depending on your time zone, must keep the faith !

Watched the Phoenix race yesterday evening. Not a bad result for Marcos but a bit of an “Ooops moment” for Jr! JJ looks unbeatable now, and our buy is likely to come in behind “the old guy”!

I've had a subscription for about 4 years - found them quite good - they sent a duplicate after one copy never arrived (I blame the postie, he's always commenting!). Part of the problem I think is they come via another part of source interlink media. I would suggest another mail or two to the 'report a missing issue'.
