another headlight problem

keato New Comer Location: ireland Joined: 16 Nov 2009 Posts: 24 Age: 29 View user's profile	Wed 18 Nov 09 20:18 another headlight problem i know there are 100 questions and 1000 answers but i cant find anything on here like this,, i have a 85 vette and yesterday the driver headlight would'nt go down,later in the day it did, then later i put them up and again the drivers side would'nt go down, i got home and closed it half way manulay and it started to work again when the button was pressed then for no reason both stoped altogether, i found that the fuse had blown and when i repalced it, it blew stright away without even touching the switch, i then disconnected both lights and it is still blowing the fuse, could 1 of the relays be fried??? or maybe the wiring??? has anyone else had this prob????? could do with some help

I don't see one for the headlights ; only direct feeds through fusible links. Be aware although one 12V feed , there are two seperate systems ; the lights themselves (which you unplugged ) and the motors. Try disconnecting the plugs to the motors one at a time to isolate problem
