We got the Ramjet in the 62, so all the speculation of will it - won't it, is now at an end It will, but only just, we have had to remove a section of the cross bracing under the hood, but it will close, a big sigh of relief all round. Was hoping not to have to lower engine mounts etc. So there you are, a lovely 62 with a Ramjet 350 fuel injected motor, and a 5 speed Tremec gearbox - Don't mind if I do!! Scott, CK

One of the big modifications needed was to reshape the engine mount bracket that fits behind the water pump, the standard mount bracket is curved but that fouled on the intake manifold by the heater hose fitting. So we had to cut that section out, flatten it, and weld it back in. You should see the stainless steel gas tank with built in pump and baffles, and the factory tacho converted to electric...it's all awesome stuff. It's the hard part now, getting all the plumbing and wiring together. Scott, Corvette Kingdom
