"Hello,

I'm emailing on behalf of the team at the Pentillie Festival of Speed to let you know that entries are now being taken for car club entries.

The Pentillie Festival of Speed will be held over the August Bank holiday (25th and 26th August) in the majestic grounds of Pentillie Castle, Cornwall.

Central to the event will be a hillclimb that starts next to the River Tamar, rises up through the woods, past the Castle and then up into the open countryside. It's a mile long and having walked it at the weekend, I know it will be quite a challenge. Plymouth Motor Club will be organising the hillclimb which will be run under MSA regulations. Assuming you have the necessary licence and kit,, there's every chance that you'll be able to drive the hill yourself.


There will also be displays of classic, retro, sports, vintage and new cars, plus 4x4 driving, memorabilia, stunt planes, Scalextric, catering and simulators. It promises to be quite an event.
