sagging drivers door

The driver's door on my 79 has started to sag slightly, does anyone know of a simple quick fix solution other than the major task, ie stripping down the speedo/rev counter cluster, and everything else Banghead Censored Censored Toetap
Why couldn't it have been the passenger door, that one's a dawdle!

Re: sagging drivers door

Hi ,i had the same problem on my 79 and the answer is new door hinge pins ,its a bit of a pain in the arse job with propping the door up and the pins snagging the wing when you try to knock them out ,its a couple of hours job to do so i nice sunday morning job , there's plenty of articales on the corvette forums and this one on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAqsyydH7qU that helps explain how its done .I always find seeing it done before you tackle it helps and it will definitely stop the door drop.....I got my pins via EMV who advertised them on Ebay he is also on here as powerbroker .
