You seem to be getting the same response and the same volunteers I had when I organised the nationals for 3 years. I would not panic too much as you will find you will get more then enough volunteers over the 2 days, especially with regular tannoy requests.
Neil and I got frustrated the first year by the lack of response on the website for volunteers but it all worked out fine. We also did a time table the first year when we expected people but that went out the window especially on the Sunday as people were hung over and still in bed, so I never bothered again.

Happy to help on the gate or where ever else as required. Not too fussed on the times, early would be good but anytime......ideally I'd like to see the workshop talks but if I can be of any assistance, I'll do my bit.

Thanks Denis Jotto and Dave. The "list" is coming together and I will let everyone know the outcome soon but I suspect you are right it will only end up as a guide.
I am quite heartened by the number of voluteers though, It is looking good-ish -managable. with just a few more people no one will have to do any long stints...sept me that is!1

A really big thank you to all those who "voluteered" to help out on the gate. It couldn't have happened without you. Every one was so on the ball we cleared the cruise in less than 3 minutes and I don't think any visitor had to wait much longer if at all. Big thank you sa well to Kevv for the prebooks and Paul for the promotional stuff.
I would be interested to know how the new policy and new look voting slips worked out Dave?
All in all one of our best shows. We need a post mortem soon to decide on policy for next year, in particular alternative accommodation. I believe we have pre booked the hotel and race course?

Sorry I wasn't there to help at the end, apart from being shattered we were kindly invited to a BBQ & i'm not known for turning down the offer of food.

I think the alternative accomodation may be an issue as there's no other hotel with the ammount of rooms & function suite that we'd need anywhere in the vicinity.
