Club Event Cancelled:AACUK Spring Nationals Victoria Farm, Lutterworth, Leics
Calendar Event: 27 Apr 2012 - 29 Apr 2012
This year, as last I'm organising a stand for the AACUK Spring Nationals at:
Victoria Farm
off High Cross Rd
High Cross
Lutterworth,
Leicestershire
LE17 5 AU
Although this is a weekend event, the Sunday 29th April is the main show and shine day, so that's what I'm aiming for.
We'll be meeting up at the same rendezvous place as last year which is
The Marina Brewer's Fayre/Premier Travel Inn
Wharf Farm
Coventry Road
Hinckley
Leicestershire
LE10 0NB
This is just off the A5 at Hinckley and only 6 or 7 miles from Victoria Farm, which is itself just off the A5 on High Cross Rd
I would suggest that we meet about 09:00 at the Marina, leaving there at 09:45 to drive in convoy to the venue in order to get a good slot .
The reason for the 9am meeting time is that some of us have breakfast there before moving on, and it gives us all time to gather for the convoy
I will be there early and will be contactable on mobile number 07968 639448
If you're interested in coming please let me know either by replying to this post or by e-mail/pm so that I can advise the AACUK and the Brewer's Fayre of potential numbers.

Re: AACUK Spring Nationals Victoria Farm, Lutterworth, Leics
We're going to have to play this by ear.
I'll be at the RV point as arranged regardless. If anyone whio has indicated they're coming doesn't like the weather on the day, then if they can text me on:
07968 639448
so I'll know not to wait for them
I'll bring my new gazebo, which is pretty big, and we can find somewhere to erect it on site so that we can shelter (I'll bring all the side panels etc). I WILL ned help with this as it's at eats a two man job (preferably a four man one)
I've not been able to find a detailed forecast for Sunday as yet toher than a bit wet.
If when we arrive at the RV point it's clearly horrendous then we'll just have to bail out.
Fingers crossed!
Dave
