Sun 29 Jan 12 13:24 Re: AlloyGator Wheel Protectors What an excellent idea - (I wonder if it affects wheel balance?) my contract hire company Passat has just 'gone back' at the end of lease. We were 'back-charged' £51 per wheel for re-furbishment. That figure is typical for a silver finished wheel. A polished or diamond cut wheel has to be mounted-up on a lathe I believe, 'turned' & re-lacqured - this is about £100 per wheel. Thanks for posting this - I have forwarded this to our transport manager for comment!

Sun 29 Jan 12 15:13 Mum's been researching this as possible protection for her wheels, apparently the reviews she has found are rather poor, suggesting that bodywork damage is possible if they remove themselves. Worth a bit more looking into before taking the plunge.
