Tue 01 May 12 06:33 One is in the left side of the left hand cylinder head (backup switch), the main function of the fan is controlled by the ECM, reading temperature from the main coolant sensor. On a standard chip it does cut in very high, circa 220F from memory.

Tue 01 May 12 06:43 Hi Fran thanks for your reply. When you say left side im guessing you mean the drivers side ?... See i had the chip changed and the fan is now cutting in earlier which is good but i believe i should also change the fan switch too to a cooler fan switch or do i not bother because the ECM is in control
