How Many Miles Does Your Corvette Get Driven?

Curious to know how many miles everyone does in the Corvette on a typical year?

Talking to some people, they average only a 1000 or so, but surely there must be some here who use theirs more than for just a few events? Scratchchin

Unfortunately not for me, owned the current Z06 for 3 years as from next week and Iíve covered a measly 3,700 miles.

Re: How Many Miles Does Your Corvette Get Driven?

I've kept detailed records since we bought our '78 in 1990. We have averaged about 2700 per year, but a few years have been 4k plus and one was 5k plus.

Interestingly that hasn't changed much since our move here, which I think is due to the fact that we did more "show" type events in the UK so were travelling to and from them on many summer weekends . Here, we don't do the "sit in a field" type events, but the Corvette Club France does have weekend events which on occasions involve big mileages (1600+ for last year's' Camargue vent). Our local club meets once month in a different village, so that usually means a 70 - 100 mile round trip on a Sunday morning.

I've always tried to use the car at least once a month, even in the UK, dry roads and no salt permitting! As I've said many times, it's a "fun car" and there is NO fun to be had in wet weather, doing anything! That said, in the 28 years we've owned it it has seen every type of weather, probably more than most Vettes in fact, and sadly we can often reckon on a soaking during a CCF weekend! Sad

Earlier models, didn't keep track of mileage, the later and current, did somewhat.

Current C3, about a 1,000 mi per year.
From the '10, '14, and '16, about 120,000 mi.
So over the last 8 years, averaging 15,000 per year.

7,500 miles a year, every year since about 2007. Admittedly in C5s and C6s and most of the miles are predominately in Europe.

In 10 years with the C5 I did 98,500 with a yearly peak of 13k.

Now with 4.5 years of the C6 have done 27,000 and that slipped to an all time low of 3500 last year

Really interesting to read to these and it certainly seems that lower mileage usage is in the majority so far. Thank you.
