Shugborough Hall - Classic Car & Transport Show (open to all CCCUK Members)

Calendar Event: 09 Aug 2015 10:00 am

I have been given the opportunity to take the Club to the Shugborough Classic Car & Transport Show, to be held at Shugborough Hall, Staffordshire (ST17 0XB) on Sunday 9th August (one day only)

To confirm the invitation and secure a dedicated pitch for the Club, I need to commit attendance of (between) 15 and 50 cars

I think that this would be a great event as not only do the organisers promise more than 1000 vehicles in attendance, but also Shugborough is a fantastic place in itself to visit (the former country pile of the Anson family, the most well known of which was Patrick, Lord Lichfield).

Shugborough Estate is a National Trust property and is located a couple of miles off the A51, about 13 miles north-west of Lichfield and around 10 miles east of the M6 at Stafford.

This event is open to all CCCUK Members (only). Cost is £3:50 (per car) to exhibit, which covers 2 adults and 2 kids (obviously crammed into the trunk ). The only stipulation is that we all need to be on site by 11am latest and cannot leave before 4pm. For clarity: All Corvettes are deemed as Classics at this show

More details about the event and the Stately pile here: http://www.shugborough.org.uk/Events/eventpages/Event-Classi...

If we want to attend, I need to commit to organisers by the end of May. If you are interested in participating in this event please PM me or e-mail me on centralsouthregion [at] corvetteclub.org.uk

Cheers

Guy

Bump, to establish any more interest

Last call for anyone elkse who is interested.

I have 25 cars already booked in, so you need to be quick, as the Organisers will soon be allocating the areas for the Clubs

Registration (Entry) form is here - > http://www.transtar-promotions.co.uk/app/download/14285409/2...

No pre-registration, no entry! Everyone has had plenty of warning about this, please do not contact me the week before the event asking how you can attend

Hi Guy,

One week away from this event (received my pass for the show a while back)

Question: Whats the latest on the club area - as in will there be a Corvette club area?

Thanks,

Phil

Re: Shugborough Hall - Classic Car & Transport Show (open to all CCCUK Members)

Thanks for everyone who made the effort to get to Shugborough Hall today.

With 20 Corvettes there it was ceratinly an impressive sight, amongst the (1000) other exhibitors. Although I tried to get round and speak to everyone individually, if I didn't speak to you, then apologies

A special thanks must go to the Members that travelled for more than 2 hours to be there. Hopefully you felt that the whole show, including the estate itself was worth the visit

I think we may go back!

This is about the best picture I could get.

Cheers
