Just like to add my five pennyworth . For all you first timers out there , GO ! It is an amazing event and the atmosphere just wandering around the pits among drivers and mechanics is petrol head heaven . The racing is always full on and there is so much more to see too . I have only missed one Classic in last 11 years and haven`t got bored yet . If you haven`t been for a while , go again , the event just keeps on growing .
So come on every one , lets get behind the club and support our Events Co ordinator and make the 65th anniversary of the Corvette something to be proud of . With sufficient support and planning plus commitment from members a good club display will be assured and a chance to drive your car in a parade lap or two around the grand prix circuit in front of thousands of spectators .

I've been attending the Classic at Silverstone for years and can recommend it to anyone who like cars (classic or otherwise) and especially the racing of some true classics. Plenty of things to see and do too.

First time on the forums, as I've only just joined the club after getting my life's dream car (2017 C7) and will hopefully see many members there as I will be displaying on the Saturday for the first time too!

Praying for good weather (never had rain in over a dozen weekends).

Welcome to the forum Chris Clap

Look forward to seeing you and your C7 at Silverstone - should be a great stand this year

After your comment about the weather I'm taking a brolly Doh

Tickets ordered - Iíll be there once again, all weekend.
Excellent event and it would be nice to get around the circuit.
Hope we have a dry one this year, been too many wet recently.

Does anyone know where our club area is this year? We were moved again last year and the only place further away is the public car park.

Re: Silverstone Classic - 20/21/22 July 2018

Regarding where we are and whether we get invited to do a lap depends very much on how many Corvettes will be on our stand.

If we get more or less the 50 I'm looking for, then things look good on both fronts. If we end up with 25 -30 like last year - not sure where we'll be TBH
