Classic Coatings

A good friend of mine has just started a powder coating and glass blasting service, based in Grantham Lincolnshire. He offers a wheel refurbishment service, powder coating service and a glass blasting service, which is the same as shot & sand blasting but not so course. The company is called Classic Coatings, phone number 07807 482983. His name is Andy Arland and i am sure he will be able to help with any questions etc.
I have posted a few pictures below of some of the jobs he has done, please forgive picture quality !

Re: Classic Coatings

Paul,
This comes at a really good time for me. I have many items I'd like to get powder coated. I've had a few things done by TripleS in Yorkshire and he does an excellent job, but is a bit out of the way for me. I go up and down the A1 by Grantham every week, so this could work out better for me. How close to the A1 is Andy's shop?

BTW: Did you get my PM?

Re: Classic Coatings

Just wanted to bring this back to the top and let everyone know about the great work that Andy at Classic Coatings does. I've had Andy do several pieces for my Corvette and a set of wheels from my old Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'll have another set of Jeep wheels for him to do as soon as I get tires mounted on the set he just did. I'll probably have him do my Corvette's Dymags as well. His work is so good that I keep finding more things for him to powdercoat. I may have him powdercoat my seats! I never liked leather that much anyway. Very Happy

Just wanted to let others know. When you find someone that does good work at a reasonable price and does it quickly, others need to know.

Hi Ray, I have just called Andy and told him of your remarks, he is very pleased that you are happy with the work done so far. I am using him also for a few parts on Vette's we are repairing etc at our workshop. The turn round time for us works well, not the usual 4 week wait. Hows the car coming on ?

Paul, I hear you're also having some phone box bits done! I'll bet it's a top fuel phone box. Very Happy
If I'm ever going to get my car done, I'm going to need to get serious. At least I'll have some nice powdercoated bits to put on if I ever get to that stage. Took your advice and didn't bother messing with my stock '128 heads and bought a set of AFRs. Should have them in the next couple of weeks along with the new cam.
