It had to happen one day.

That drive back home after Silverstone was not fun! The rain didn't ease off for us until we came off the top of the M6 Toll.
I think we passed you on the M1 - there was a C3 Pace Car in front of you? Couldn't see who was driving because of all the spray.

I can understand the frustration after putting in hours of work shining your beauty.

Just happened to me yesterday, scootin' around in the rain running errands. Of course it was not raining when I left. I live basically in between two bodies of water, the Chesapeake Bay, and the Delaware Bay, right close to that bigger pond, the Atlantic. During the summer months, the weather can be unpredictable.
I'll check the radar maps before I head out, not a blip anywhere near, wait a half hour, I got a storm cell just like that overhead.

The rain I don't mind, it's the crap on the roads that accumulates on the rear. I also live out in the farming area, which all have irrigation spaying, and of course, it sprays on the road during it's cycle. Have to dodge those, that water leaves terrible water marks, especially if you don't wipe the top surface off right away. Let it sun dry and I'll almost have to compound the car. Oh woe is me............

On the brighter side, just finished up a quick shine for the next run.

Yes Chris, I followed Dave - when I could see him - and I noticed you shoot passed us. At which point I was thinking "those C2's handle atrocious conditions much better than a C3":)

I wish I could find the thread Norm posted that detailed the build and what it looked like finished. Absolutely awesome!

Lads you need Rainex Rainex Rainex
You can almost drive in the Rain without the Wipers - of course you need the eyes of a twenty year old to help
No I am out in the Vette on Tuesday for a 140 mile one way trip with rain forcast all the way and as a matter of course when I was out yesterday by a Halfords, I bought another bottle of Rainex, rather than I might find not much left in the bottle I have in the garage when I get the Vette out.

Ive got Rainex outside and Rainex anti fog inside.
Even got this Millennium tyres.
Its the T tops that worry me, theyve still not had a proper test.
Pleased to see the forecast for tomorrow is improving.

Derek I understand the Rainex outside, but Fog inside ???
What you have is old age and Brain Cell Fog - it has happened to all of us - it is ok to admit it - join the Club - sorry you already have!

Are you questioning the product or me using it?
Rainex Anti fog is a seperate product and is a must for the inside of motorcycle helmet visors. Where exterior Rainex repels water, their anti fog attracts the moisture and spreads it into an even clear see through layer (as i understand it). I believe they were both invented for use in helicopters but dont quote me on that.
Ive done a heater delete on my car due to an exploded leaking core (went with a bang) and my ventilation direction system doesnt work due to, well, i wont go into that.. it dont work.

Derek I was Jesting in what I thought was a comedic and self inclusive way, I am aware of the Anti Fog Rainex product - If I have offended you - I apologise

Oi! stop apologising at once or i shall henceforth take offence with immediate effect, it is indeed i who must apologise for being a dim, stupid peasant.. im sorry, im sorry, im sorry...

Thats one of the problems with social media, its littered with misunderstandings, its all too easy to grab the shitty end of the stick.
