Now lets get up to date, a lot of you will know this was the London Classic Car Show Olympia 2020.

I did introduce myself to one CCCUK club member but unfortunately my 11 year old grandson Luke was not feeling to well that day, so I often left Luke with the not so reliable motley TR crew below, well Luke sat on the chair anyway playing with his phone, I am an associate member of the London TR group, or that's what they call me to my face, so when ever I left Luke it could not be for long, so I could not talk very long to the CCCUK member.

I went Saturday by train what an absolute bxxxxxd to get home    nearly all the lines were either shut for maintenance not running there full route or on the Central line a jumper, or as TFL like to call them one under, not sure my mad Irish underground driver mate Brennon would call them that.

Hi Daytona Vette sometimes I think I hate you but not quite :) you beat me again although not the full answer, I was just adding a new post, no not me, Barry on the left would be very pleased with you.

We are all petrol heads here the gentleman on the left is Captain Barry Rowe now retired Major Barry Rowe of the royal signals, Barry was the officer in charge of the Army White Helmet Motor Bike Display Team, and as you can imagine Barry is a very interesting gentleman, and still owns his TR6 which Barry purchased new.

As for the white shirts I am only an associate member, well the London group anyway they would not let me near one, well they would if I paid for one.
I am a member of the TR Register which is 50 years old this year hence the 50 logo.

Hi kentvette maybe you or someone else can help me out, especially the owner of a C6 re The Ace Cafe, this has really been bugging me,

That would be "Timon" who was the Sub-Editor of the Club mag at one time. Went to live in the US, I seem to remember.

Yep! I think I'm right in saying that Timon's still in Sedona, Arizona. I seem to recall that he got that C6 very early...

Barry, does it have "Moon-Roofs?

Funchi, unfortunately, I gave all my old Vette News magazines away last year. Most went up to Pete Sansbury, in Normandy. I think they went back to at least 2003, so had all the Ace Cafe reports in them! But I'll see what photos I have of my last trip there. Been a busy "gardening day" here today!

Interestingly John Sansbury (one of the clubs founder members) and brother of Pete Sansbury (who is our European Regional Representaive) had all of the club magazines dating back to the very first issue I believe. John volunteered some time ago to individually scan each copy and produce a digital library of all the magazines to enable all members to have free access (and non-members paying a small fee). I must remember to ask Pete how that is coming along......

All taken at Santa Pod, in a previous post I did know if I had been to Santa pod more than once, although these photo suggest I did I am not sure.

I need you C3 detectives out there, although the seem to be the same car, the main difference is the physical number plate, not the registration, and although I can't see if the wheels are the same, they are easily changed, plus one has Orange lights in the grill the other none.

I must be being stupid I am I blinded by WOT 2T

WOT 2 T was a Kent car all through the 90's, belongng to (now ex member) Richard Wise. I believe he bought it in about 1989. He did a lot of miles in it, with the Kent group all over the UK, France, Belgium and The Netherlands. I have a photos somewhere of hime loading it with boxes of wine at Eastenders in Calais - it's like one of those trick Goodies films, there is so much on the trolley that goes into the car! It was always very nicely looked after. But, Richard moved on towards the end of the 90's and the car was sold. I heard that the new owner thought it needed "things", and substantially changed it. Whether he changed colour and wheels I'm not sure, but I suspect it was just a swap of numbers to another car.

kentvette (y) You could be correct about the registration but surprising almost identical cars.

I think I may have seen WOT 2T at the Wharf Dartford as well as Santa Pod.

Blimey! See this thread already has 2k "Views". Just as a matter of interest, does the number of "views" only include those with a CCCUK User ID (paid up member or not) who have logged onto the site, or all views including visitors? Or some other combination?

All viewings are listed (as it isn't a 'members only' thread)

Maybe the new owner did go for a total change, as you say, they do look the same in many respects.

I think it may have been at The Wharf once or twice.

Chevrolet O no do you mean I have got to carry on, well OK here goes then.

Hi Daytona Vette you posted (David Moore had a nice Blue C2 vert with the reg 2 FLY,) I don't think I have seen it in the flesh but in the book below.

I think it was my younger brother who is into music and cars told me it could have been owned by a Rock Star?.

Is the author known to any club members I don't recall the name, but there are some good photos of UK cars.
