Hi All,
Changed the flasher relay on my 81 Vette as the indicators were very slow and hey presto I now have indicators that flash when the headlights are ON !!!!

BUT this little fella dropped out on me from the fuse box !!!!
Anyone got an 81 with this fitted ??
I suspect it's for suppression of the radio etc but to be honest it looks like its not been plugged in at all.........
Nothing obvious springs to mind when looking upside down !!!
But everything works
Have to love the C3's .........................

Is the capacitor connected to the flasher unit? There are 2 flasher units (one for the indicators and one for the Hazard flashers) - well there are on my '74. Not sure about the capacitor though !?!

Yes there are 2.
1 at the top of the fuse box. And 1 at the bottom.
The indicator 1 is at the bottom of the box.
The cap lugs are as you see it so there is no logical place for it to go !!
And it should be from a positive to ground

It would be more helpful in taking a photo of just the cap, and what is on the end of the cap leads and post that
If I had to guess is this goes on the bottom side of the fuse panel to the 12 volt bus ?
