78 door panel attachment

Started work on my door panels today (I'm going to fit new skins). It's been a couple of years since I took them off and I'm a bit confused about how they are supposed to be fitted. There are 5 metal plates screwed to the back side of the panels that look like they are meant to secure the bottom and rear edge of the panel. However there is nothing on my doors to attach them to! Am I missing something?

Looks as though they are velcro attachment points, are there parts of the door opposite these where velcro would grip?

There are a couple of places where something could be intended to be mounted along the bottom of the door, that do seem to line up with 2 of the plates, but not all of them.

Looks like I am indeed missing something, a set of door panel trim retainers like these.

Actually it did help, as I found that drawing in my AIM a couple of days a go. Thanks for posting it anyway.
