Back on the road

Took the Corvette out for an hour today to blow out the cobwebs, haven't had her out since 18th November because I broke my wrist on Xmas day (not much fun). She started straight up and ran sweet, was great to get back behind the wheel of such a classic machine.

Glad your wrist is better Nick. Christmas Day in A&E then.
It makes the car feel even more special when you drive it again after a lay-off.

I trust you were more sympathetic to the car's first start than someone I got directed to on the anti-social-media the other day, revving straight to the red line after a 4 month layoff!

You did a fine job on your wrist there fella.......OUCH !!! I'm thinking that might be your right wrist looking at the X-ray? At least with an auto shift it will rest your injury a bit hey?

Yes, a 'proper job' as you say, literally the worst pain I've ever experienced!
