Hi guys just wondering which brake fluid to use for my 78 C3 , I think it needs dot 3 or do you use a dot 4 which is compatible with dot 3 thanks Stewart.

Motul RBF600. I Never use anything else. 100% synthetic DOT4 with a very high boiling point. I have put this in both Vettes and the bikes in the past.
You need to flush the whole system first.

I remember those radio adverts in Cornwall on Pirate FM back in the day
Ha! Don't remeber the ads, but I do remeber Pirate FM, always our "go to" staion when we were visiting our "second home" on holidays back in the 80s and early 90s. Didn't Roger "Twiggy" Day pop up on Pirate at one point?

After I lost the brakes in a bash with a Subaru, out went the DOT4 and in went DOT5.1.. Been fine ever since.

Most people wouldn't admit to being thrashed by a Subaru - in 20 years I've never had anything thrash my '68 - initially with stock 427 and later on the 489..... mind you I don't get out in it that often!
