Buying and importing C5 Z06

Hi All
new to the club and forum as looking to buy a C5 Z06 and could do with some advice on how to secure one.
A few years back I drove a friends C5 Z06 whilst over in Boston which included a day trip to Thompson Raceway for some laps and have wanted one ever since!
I'm looking for a lowish mileage completely standard car and there apperar to be quite a few for sale on the various websites , so far so good!.
Moving to the next stage does anyone have any advice on how to buy remotely, things condition inspection, survey, shipping, registering in UK etc
Is this something I should try to do myself or are there shipping companies/agents who can help
any advice much appreciated

Hi Bruce, welcome.

I imported a C3 last year and if it was me I’d try and find one that’s already here. C5 Z06 do come up for sale here and it removes a lot of the risk. The exchange rate is also pretty pants at the moment.
