Hi guys
I’m new to the world of forums, but as a new member, wondered if anyone’s interested in our restoration project. I’ve added a few pics of our progress so far. It’s a father and son first attempt at any kind of restoration and it’s got us hooked. We would welcome any comments and advice to help us along, the black paint on the body is only a guide coat, it’s staying yellow. 6AC21708-88F5-43B8-AD74-BC7C1BD4D19A.jpeg32274EAC-6726-43D2-B815-2BAD77696425.jpegAC9D9EED-72C5-4EE0-B4C9-8763AA23E5D6.jpegWe are coming to the point of replacing the body back on the chassis and would like to start getting the interior ready, can anyone recommend a reliable trimming company as we have tried several company’s none of which seem to be interested in quoting us. We’re four years into the build and can’t wait to get her on the road. Looking good guys. depending on where you are, a friend of mine in North Norfolk is a top upholsterer and did my seats, pukka job and reasonable cost too. i supplied the foam covers and seat fitting kit and he did the rest. He's on Facebook as Bike Seat Pro. he does bike seats too.

Looks like your doing well. We all love pics of a project.

That dog needs to be sent on a lifting course, has he not heard of exclusion zones?!

Looks like you are happy to take on major jobs, so why not do the interior yourselves? Seat covers, door skins and carpets are all available.
Keep us updated on your progress, it's always interesting to see what others are doing.

I’m happy to take on the seats and carpet, but my boy wants to get the dash leather covered and would like everything to match 😩

Welcome, great work and what a great father and son project too. Looks like you have a well equipped workshop and not scared to tackle any issues.
