Just to be clear - anyone know rough time to allow to change rear mains crankshaft oil seal on a big block. I have limited access to a ramp on a saturday. Someone must have done one?
Thanks

Can only speak for a small block but it's quite straightforward and took me approx 3 hours lying on my back. Only advice I would give is after you've removed the rear bearing cap also loosen all the other caps. This will allow the crank to drop very slightly giving a little more clearance when you slide into position the top half of the new seal. I didnt do this and maybe thats why I still have a slight leak 😣
