Stars & Stripes 2nd & 3rd July 2022

Following on from this event in 2021 where we had our very first CCCUK club stand that attracted over 50 Corvettes through the weekend, several new members, merchandise sales and fabulous breakfasts cooked by Maureen & Linda. We're doing it all again on the 2nd & 3rd of July and I'll be ordering a block booking of weekend passes.

For those that have never attended this annual event, entrance is free but you have to be pre-booked on our stand. Both days attract in the region of 1,000 American vehicles, parts vendors galore, live music, the wheel of death, all manner of food and drinks available, new and used car sales. Camping, caravans or RV's can be arranged and there is a nominal charge payable directly to Mortons.

Please note - arrival must be before 10:00am and vehicle movements are restricted until 16:00pm due to the sheer number of people that attend this event. If you have a genuine reason to leave earlier than 16:00pm you can request a Marshal escort you to the exit.

Mortons have confirmed that we will have the same CCCUK club stand as we had in 2021 in a prime central location. Anyone wishing to display their Corvette on either or both days should let me know as Mortons will issue all day passes to me as per last year. They stopped issuing individual passes once our club stand was agreed so don't rely on securing an individual pass. All I need by way of an email is the details as high lighted below sent to stuart@altertherm.com

I have sent the same to our NW members via mojo but as we had a number of Corvette owners attend from other regions last year hopefully those outside the NW region get captured here.

Hi Brian.

As discussed just now, I have now received a bunch of passes for our CCCUK stand at Tatton Park for the Stars & Stripes event 2nd & 3rd July. I'll be sending a mojo to all NW members who need a pass and posting them out this weekend. Some members on the original list have received personal application passes which also admit them to our club stand if they wish.

Rules are limited to:
No entry without a pass.
No entry after 10:00am
No exit until 16:00 unless you have an emergency then you can be escorted out by a marshal.
The pass gets you into the park and into the show field at no cost for the driver + 1 passenger.

Expect to be blown away by the 1,000's of American cars, trucks, motorcycles etc on display!
