Hi guys, I am a new owner of a C3 Stingray (1975), the car is in pristine condition apart from working windows, I was wondering if anyone knew of an easy way to fix these? Happy to use a specialist if needed...I'm based in London.

try to fix the window motor . Turn the door panel off , once you have it removed , you will se the electric motor on the bottom . Try to find out if the power goes out , if not , than it should be the motor broke down .

I bet the motors are fine, they are seriously well built. They ground through the door to the birdcage, pull the panels and remove the access cover from the door, then run a wire from one of the mounting bolts directly to the -ve on your battery and see if the window works, if so you need to clean up the ground between the motor/door. If not, run 12v to each connector on the motor momentarily and see if the window goes up/down. If so there is an issue with the switches/relay. On mine the relay was knackered. Another common issue is the switches wear out because the factory power window harness runs power through them and 40+ years of arcing destroys the carbon contacts. All the aftermarket switches are junk and will fail eventually. You can open the switches and use Servisol to clean the contacts but they will always be flakey. The best thing to do is use 4 bosch relays triggered by the original switches. My windows now go up and down like a brand new car and the relays fit neatly under the parking brake console. I can post the wiring diagram if interested.
