In aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Someone will WIN this mint-condition black Euro-spec 1999 C5 Corvette, supplied by Chris Graham. This Vette is fully loaded including electric seats, head-up display (HUD) and F45 adjustable suspension, and has covered just 8,600 miles from new! Peter Best Insurance Services is donating £300 to the winner of the Corvette too!
CCCUK is delighted to announce the successful sale of our 1,000 Corvette raffle tickets. As a result, the winning ticket will be drawn on June 29th at the CCCUK Nationals at Huntingdon race course and one lucky person WILL WIN THE CORVETTE and £300 in cash!

CCCUK 2008 NATIONALS ARE SPONSORED BY
The Nationals weekend goes from strength to strength, and the Saturday night at the Hotel is no exception. 2007 was a truly superb evening and the Nationals Organisers are planning to improve on it again for 2008. We will have a private bar and function room, a Carvery style 3 course meal and live music courtesy of CCCUK member Jon Wilson and his band. As usual, the CCCUK will provide overnight Security Staff for any cars parked in the Hotel Car Park on the Saturday night. In order to avoid the Sunday morning Breakfast queues, we hope to have a private breakfast room where the full breakfast buffet will be available.
The CCCUK has secured a limited number of rooms at reduced rates for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at The Marriott Hotel, Huntingdon. The Committee is very keen to see this as a further benefit of CCCUK membership and therefore the following arrangements will apply:
Reduced Rate Rooms are for CCCUK members only and must be arranged through the CCCUK Hotel Organiser who will reserve one room per CCCUK membership number as at 1st June 2008. Any rooms allocated to members who have not renewed their CCCUK membership by that date may be cancelled.
Guests are more than welcome but if they need rooms, these should be arranged with the hotel direct - their normal tariff will apply and these rooms cannot be taken from the CCCUK allocation. All CCCUK rooms, Carveries and entry passes must be paid for within 7 days of booking please, but cheques will not be presented until nearer the time.
All rooms are on a first come, first served basis and best endeavors will be used to accommodate any special requests but they cannot be guaranteed.
The Room Rates for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday are:
£65.00 single room B&B
£85.00 double room B&B
Carvery Tickets for the Saturday night are £25 each, which includes the room hire, staffing, entertainment etc.
Weekend Passes to the Racecourse for CCCUK members will be available, which will save you queuing and make life easier for the gate staff. The cost this year is £10 per car for the entire weekend (i.e. for a Corvette with two occupants, this works out at only £2.50 per person per day). Requests for passes can be included with your Hotel and/or Carvery booking. Passes will be available on the gate for you to collect on Saturday.
The CCCUK Hotel Organiser is Rich Rogers. Please advise Rich of any requests for Rooms, Carvery Tickets and Weekend Passes. Please provide the names of all parties, address, telephone number, email and any special requirements (e.g. vegetarian options).

If 2007 was anything to go by, this will be a superb evening. Why not treat yourself to a night or two in a top class hotel with top class people, but please don’t delay as last year the hotel was completely full.
STOP PRESS – Friday night will include a cruise to Buddies American Diner and back at the hotel afterwards, CCCUK member, Mick Howes, will be having a stag night. Rooms are available for Friday as well as Saturday.

The 2008 CCCUK Racing Shirt is NOW AVAILABLE to order, either via the club merchandise site (shortly) or via a cheque for £45 (payable to CCCUK please, this includes £5 P&P) to CCCUK, 22 Bradbury Road, Maidenbower RH10 7HY.
In association with Bauer Millett. 
You will see that this year's shirt adopts the official Corvette Racing team colours, including the black stripe (see "Velocity Yellow meets Bad Boy Black - The 2008 Corvette Racing Livery" at http://www.corvetteclub.org.uk/viewtopic.php?t=5759 ). Also, there is a breast pocket, and no epaulettes this year, following member's feedback.
The shirt in the picture is an "XL" size, and our model* is a 44" chest (112cm) so you can see that there is room to move in an XL shirt for a person of that size. All sizes are the same as last year... 
THERE ARE ONLY 100 OF THESE SHIRTS, SO IT IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVED!
(* our rugged, windswept model, who does not get out of bed for less than 10p)
