A quick note to acknowledge the latest 'Vette News'...….the 40th Anniv. scheme works very well - credit to the Editorial and Production teams.
Just read James Gill's saga re: buying his red C3 (unseen by him but 'inspected' in the States)...… gosh - keep plugging away, James - you'll get there in the end.

Just noticed I'm described as a 'new member'. Not quite - I joined in 1994!

New site doesn't distinguish member status from previous site, I guess different software. I believe once you've obtained 25 or so posts, status changes to CCCUK Member.

Much appreciated Jack. Almost all done, just need to adjust timing & handbrake. Pity the photos I sent in with the story weren't printed. I did say to the Editor, to let me know if there was an issue with him receiving them with the text and I'd send separately. Does look rather a bland read without some pics in between!

When I've received the article, there were no pictures with it. The best way is to sent it straight to the both of us who work the magazine.

Thanks! It was a whole job working out the whole new magazine theme, but the result came out great. I've received a lot of great comments about it.

As for the 40th anniversary Club logo, this what we are going to use his year.

Hear what you are saying JonnyC4. As a newbie, I just followed the request in a previous issue, requesting articles and who to submit them to. Every day's a school day.

Sorry the photos didn't make it - I just had a quick look through this morning and thought "This needs pictures" - I was surprised you hadn't included any. Hopefully it'll be a reminder for others in the future(y)

I know, it's not easy with pictures. I mostly use "We transfer" for large files like pictures, easy to use and I don't know what happened with the pictures. Keep me informed about other articles about your C3 and we work something special out.
