Tyre recommendations

1995 c4, gonna be drag racing it, not too worried about fronts just get average 255s

But for the rear it's currently got 285/40 r17s on it

I want decent grip on the rears but don't want to spend an arm and a leg on Pzeros

What's the best recommendations for size and brand

I run Toyo R888's on my C4, road legal. Amazing grip in the dry and not too bad in the wet.
