Cheers, it looks more shiny in the photos but then when the body is on you won't see any of what I've done anywayThat's looking very shiny!
Maybe summer with work commitments. Going to get the other half to give me a hand to get the body back on the weekend although she doesn't know that yet , how did you get on with attaching the body back to your chassis? i have shims but no shims were apparent when i took the body offCanβt be long now, ready for spring?
Thereβs two holes, one each side, in the body sills that line up with holes in the chassis. So you can use a long screw drivers to guide the body down to the right place.
I put my body straight down then shimmed it to get door and wing alignment etc. Later, after it was all done I shimmed one corner some more as it didnβt look quite right.
Ordered some over a month ago from dapper lighting but emailed them the other day as heard nothing and there is another three month delay due to lack of resisters for the halosWhich headlights are you waiting for?
Ooh ! that`s lovely . Almost a shame to cover it up with bodywork .Got around to finally fitting the uj's to the prop and got it fitted. Rear beam stripped painted and fitted, chassis has all been waxoyled now and a few smaller Jobs finished so last pics of the chassis before I get around to popping the body on. (When I get the chance)
Matches the rest of itOoh ! that`s lovely . Almost a shame to cover it up with bodywork .
Cheers, was hoping to work on her over Christmas but am taken out with COVID so all plans from Christmas and New year are cancelledThis car is going to look terrific when its done. As someone said, the chassis and drive train looks too good to cover up. Fantastic job! Those new lights look good too.
