C5 Drivers seat repair and refurbish.

Hi All. Iv just removed my drivers seat from my 99 C5 convertible, as the seat foam and the “light oak” cover needs replacement. I’m also doing the “washer mod” to the seat track while it’s out. After removing the seat and turning upside down, I noticed a broken plastic part underneath. This houses a nut that allows the seat to be adjusted up and down. Please see photos. Does anyone know where I might get this replacement part please? Also can anyone recommend where to get a new seat foam, and an original or made to order seat cover in light oak please? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Cozzy.

Seat foams and covers can be had from the major corvette parts suppliers in the US . ie Corvette central, Ecklers, Zip Etc to name a few. Correct factory colours and patterns.
A good UK trimmer should be able to match the foam pretty close, not so sure on the covers tho.
UK corvette parts suppliers probably will not carry them in stock, but of course would be able to order them for you .

Whenever I’ve done interior work, I’ve always just ordered the parts from a US supplier. ( usually Al Knock) never had any problems.

Just a thought. If you’re only going to replace the drivers seat cover with a new one, it will definitely not match the “old” passenger seat even if ordered in the same colour. Age and sunlight would have discoloured it over the years.
Could the old cover not be saved/repaired? Then fitted to new foam.

Hello again. The very same seat!👍 I’m going to get it looked at by a pro, as I’m not sure if a repair is possible? It may be the two worn panels could be removed and replaced? The back rest of the seat is perfect. Just the base. As you say, a colour match will be the problem. Thankyou for your help and advice.
Thanks again
Roy
