Clutch push rod query

Hi all, still working on eliminating my clutch pedal rattle. I thought it was eminating from up around the pedal /footwell area but on further investigation I seems it is resonating through to the pedal. I have found a fair bit of movement where the clutch push rod attaches to the clutch fork exiting the bell housing. Question being, is that wear in the hole /pin at end of clutch rod common and just needs a new rod, pin and clips and two new anti rattle springs ? Or, has anyone swapped to the fork push rod with spherical ends ? Am I right in thinking this does away with the need for the anti rattle springs and the pins / clips etc .? If anyone has swapped to this I would be interested in if it improved things and made for smoother and quieter clutch operation ?👍TiA
