This thing was in front of me just now. A very unloved looking C7 from the land that supplies our fuel. In the flesh it looked very uncared for being filthy in all the places you would get in and A1D9D715-FC13-466C-BE25-8234398A8BA6.jpeg2D2A02F1-EB9C-4A0A-BCC9-900F7AD33523.jpegclean.

Perhaps he has difficulty finding suitable gofor's to clean it for the right money here now he's in the UK? Irrespectively it'll be regarded as a cheap throwaway item I guess.

A friend of mine worked in Saudi for a few years and said the desert was scattered with abandoned expensive cars where spoilt sons of the mega rich just dumped them when out of gas or bogged down in the sand !

A good friend worked in Saudi during the late 70’s into early 80’s. Said loads of exotic and American cars scattered in the desert. Came across a Aston vantage, managed to locate the owner who told him “it’s broken” he bought it for nothing. Turned out to be a flat battery due to faulty alternator.

In those days of early oil wealth , the
A rabs bought all these cars into the country but nobody knew how to fix them. Once they stopped for whatever reason they were left where they stopped and another was purchased. It was also very difficult to track down the owner of the abandoned vehicle. The police were very suspicious of your motives for doing so .
My friends bosses dad had a brand new corniche convertible to carry his goats about in . All he knew was this was the best goat cart you could buy , and he was happy.
