End results of when guys today cannot even do a simple engine oil change

From the C8 Owner :

I took my brand-new C8 2023 HTC corvette for an oil change (at 3000 miles) to my local chevy dealership only to find out that the mechanic took it out for 21 miles of hard driving around,
Where he had 18 hard acceleration runs and exceeded speeds of 80 mph in local roads.

He then deleted the PDR (built in dash-cam) joyride recordings, all while I waited in the lobby for 4 hours.
I wonder what the Maryland owner liability is in case of a mishap?

Not a Corvette, but a mate of mine dropped his car off at the tyre place to get new tyres and left it there whilst he walked around the corner to work. Came back later and it seems they decided to take it for a joyride around the place giving it a good hammering. How did my mate know about this? Well, it has a VERY obvious dashcam on the windscreen that the tyre place joyriders were too stupid to disable before they took a customers car for a joyride.
