The driver of this orange C8 Corvette coupe escaped injury after a Chevy pickup rolled over the sports car and wound up with its front tires resting on the seats.
To get the 2 people out of the C8, rescue had to take the front wheels off the truck
Authorities say the weird mishap happened around 9:30 p.m. Monday at 168th Avenue & Colorado Boulevard in the Colorado town of Thornton.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but photos from the scene show the front end of the Silverado resting atop the front of the Stingray with the truck’s right front tire removed to help extricate the two people in C8.
Thornton Fire Department, North Metro Fire Rescue District, and Brighton Fire Rescue responded to the accident.
According to authorities, no one in either vehicle had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.
