Seat adjustment

I've just bought a 1995 C4, all the seat adjustments work... apart from backwards... is there any way to manually adjust the seat while I wait till I can repair it?

Have you lifted, moved far forward and tilted the seat to see if something has not got jammed into 1 or of the rails
Maybe loosen the 4 rail bolts from the floor and try and move the seat left & right and maybe free the gear up

It is common for this problem and there are kits sold to replace, the rails, the gears of the transmission

Appreciate this, I have worked out it's the button not the seat motor
