Which way do they spin

I need a right hand side 3 wire headlight motor
I don’t mind striping them down but I need to know do the left and right motors spin the same way or one goes clockwise and one anticlockwise . Or is it the wiring that makes them spin the way they do
Hope this makes sense

If you picture, this is a right side one
The manual adjuster is offset to the motor, so if you flipped this over to the left side
would not the adjuster than be in the wrong position ?

I do not see, in looking at a lot of these, saying 1 unit for either side
they all show left and right units

Here is 3 wire 85 headlight wiring
so looks like the relays would trigger which rotation motor would turn

Not sure what exactly you're trying to do or replace ?

I think the gold parts you mention is the manual adjuster to adjust, open or close the door by hand

As I mentioned with the wiring drawing that there are three wires to the motor
This allows via the relay to change the rotation (open/close) and could swap 2 wires to cause the rotation to be reversed than what it was

Really would have to open one to see exactly what part is the motor,
test to see if the problem is not the motor, but the gears are jammed
If the problem is bad brushes of the motor
Think any shop that repair electric motors could swap the brushes if you cannot

It looks like the gold part is the motor case containing the stator, and the manual adjustor is connected to the armature shaft.
I would guess that it's the same motor and either the gears are different or it's wired differently.
The only way to confirm is to take it apart.
