A Black/Red 1963 Corvette Z06 Split Window with the 36.5 gallon N03 gas tank. Chevrolet only built 199 Z06s for the year, and this is also number 51 of 63 produced with the tanker option.
That catalog description goes on to say that this is the only Tuxedo Black with Red Interior Corvette Z06 with the N03 option.

The Z06 was delivered from the St. Louis assembly plant on May 17, 1963, to Lonnie Glasscock of Corpus Christi, Texas, through Jennings Chevrolet in Robstown, Texas. Glasscock owned the car for 10 years, driving it for fun, with no competition events logged. It still retains the original Rochester fuel-injected 327/360 hp V8 engine, and it has since been restored to its original presentation.

This ’63 Corvette Z06 also comes with a ton of original documentation, and it has been awarded Bloomington Gold certification and a MCACN Concours Gold award.

Amazingly, the Black/Red Corvette Z06 was offered for NO RESERVE at the Kissimmee auction, where it hit the auction block on Thursday, January 11th.
Bidding opened at $400,000 and within three minutes it would hammer for sale at $850,000.
With Mecum’s sales commission included, the out-the-door price was $935,000. That was good enough to be number two on the list of highest-priced Corvettes sold during the Kissimmee auction.
