We’re changing things slightly this year by having all Corvettes on the show field for judging on Saturday only. We still have the show field on Sunday as we pay for the weekend but our plan is to enjoy the beautiful roads and scenery the Lake District has to offer by replicating and extending last years cruise on Sunday after a lazy breakfast.
For those that will arrive at Park Foot on Friday the now traditional BBQ at ‘my place’ is going ahead on Friday evening but this year our rented lodge is a five-minute walk from the venue.
We’ll have a resident DJ on Saturday and it looks like we may be able to invite Claire back to provide on-field catering!
Saturday evening dinner will be back at the pub in Pooley Bridge as last year they were faultless and very reasonably priced.
Gliptone and my company AlterTherm will be joint main sponsors and Gliptone will as ever have their trade stand stocked with detailing products and tools all discounted for members.
Arnold Clark will be there for the weekend and bringing a C8 Stingray, C8 E Ray and a C8 ZO6 that members can test drive.
Trophies will be presented at 15:00 on Saturday.
