20mpg ? 😩reckon i get half of that!!😩
As best as I could calculate on a long run with steadt cruising I could get about 20mpg and that was with the old 750 cfm Holley . Once in traffic or hooning about it was probably 12 to 15 mpg . Have not bothered to work it out yet with new 650 cfm Edelbrock . But with the vagueries of a C3 fuel gauge it`s all a bit guess work anyway .

I only calculated out my rough MPG the time I drove it home after it was imported. It did about 18MPG on that long run, but that was with the old Carter carb that was overfuelling. Now have a new Edelbrock one so suspect it is better over long distance, but I've never calculated it out as I don't care. MPG is not the reason we bought these cars.

welcome , love a white c3 . I remember one parked at watergate bay in summer of 74 or 5 . Rolled up with a surfboard sticking out of the t top. Sooo cool ! , we , as lads of 15 were in awe, i think it had black sidepipes too if anyone’s memory of a cornish road trip stretches back that farπŸ˜€πŸ‘
Enjoy your new vette 😁

We leave next week for a 450 mile drive to Albertville, then three days in the Alps, then another 450 miles home. We usually get about 20 - 22 mpg on the Autoroutes, cruising at about 110kph (70-ish mph), but the Alps will be a different story. We try not to think about the fuel bill!
