There is a Travel Lodge in Rushden that is only 9 miles from The Pod and would probably be a £75 ish for a night .

I guess it depends on how many of those expressing interest will be at the Nationals . I have a spanner in the works at present as my booked summer holiday plans have been scuppered and currently trying to source an alternative that fits in with my wifes annual leave . I hope to have things sorted in a week or two so I can get my diary organised .

I’d rather not do both together,
Lemans, then speedfest, then a holiday.
Normally drive up to nationals on the Sunday morning , which is a good fun run organised by Andy.
Saturday may be pushing it at the pod as we will all give it our best and if we break them won’t be there for the Sunday?

That was my thinking. Keep them separate as only 2 people turned up when they were on the same weekend.

I would not be up for same weekend either . I have just booked a room at the Aviator for wifey and I on Saturday night even though it is only a half hout drive from me so I can have a drop of pop at the Shindig and Mrs G won`t fancy hanging around at the Pod all day .

How about one of the following.
Sat 3rd June RWYB only no racing
Sat 10th June (this one runs into the evening) RWYB Only.
Sat 29th or Sun 30th July Mopar Nationals so a full race meet with RWYB (must be an American car to enter RWYB)
Didn’t want to risk the weather earlier in the year, so they seemed the nearest sensible dates.
Sat 3rd June RWYB only no racing

A good idea to try and pitch for the better weather months . Unfortunately I cannot make either dates as will be away in Antigua but hold things up because of me if you get enough interested in those dates . I am happy to still act as link with BBNC members as I know a lot of them are not active on the forum and once you have a chosen date I will plug it some more.

That’s a shame. Maybe one later in the year too or we just do it later in the year (I lack patience
)? July RWYB clashes with the nationals and then we’re into the summer proper.
