Garage service recommendation

Hi,
I need some mechanical, electrical and paint correction work done on my C3 Corvette. Has anybody used Topcats Racing? If so, what was your experience or is there any one else you would recommend. I am willing to travel. I am based in South Wales.

Hi Steven - if you give an indication of where you live (and perhaps how far you want to travel) hopefully we'll have some members suggest places for you. I have zero knowledge of Tops Cats other than a fair number of CCCUK members specifically with later model Vettes (C5's and C6's) and other Chevy engined cars seem to use and highly rate them.

I had my C5 serviced there. Also they Put a new clutch in, rebuilt the gearbox to fix an issue with it jumping out of first and rebuilt the diff. No complaints at all. The owner is a nice chap and the mechanic knows his stuff.

Hi, The car is a 82 Collectors Edition.
1 All Control Arm bushes both sides need replacing,
2 Full service, all lubricants and coolant need replacing.
3 Fuel gauge not working, sender has been replaced and adjusted three times. Fuel gauge needle moved from half full to full and now sits at empty.
4 Rear number plate not working - bulb has been checked and found to be ok.
5 Parasitic drain on the battery. Interior lights remain on when doors closed, removed fuse for interior lights/radio. No parasitic draw.
6 MOT required.

With regards to the paint correction, I have now found a local garage who will carry out the work.

No problem with any of those issues, I have control arms ready to exchange feel free to call me
