C8 mid wing spoiler

I'm thinking of replacing my 2024 Z51 spoiler with a mid wing spoiler.. Would it be a simple fit as in would all the original drill holes match up? Or would it be a body shop fit? Cheers

Could also just add some ACS Composite "Wickers" to the existing spoiler for a bigger looking/more aggressive spoiler?

Do you mean like this one?
Hi Chris, Think you have installed/added the factory/OE wing off the C8 Z06 with the Z07package on your fantastic ERay? On the Stingray in the US, it came with no rear spoiler (non Z51 option car) or Z51 rear spoiler on the Z51. An option on the Z51 when new was a High Wing rear spoiler and from 2025, a Mid Wing height rear spoiler. As your ERay didn't have that rear spoiler when new, I presume Parts USA had to drill some holes, as well as taking off the back end panel to fit it?

no this one
So that's ACSComposite's version of the MId Wing and presumably cheaper than a GM one? And as it says in the add:
"Installation is seamless on any 2020+ Corvette Stingray already equipped with a factory spoiler. The Mid Wing reuses the OEM mounting points—no drilling, no cutting. For non-spoiler equipped Stingray's installation templates and hardware kits are included".

You will have to take the back off to fit that/2 person job. There are some YouTube videos, including Rick Corvette Conti, where they fit a High Wing on a customers Z51 car.

Hi, yes they had to drill holes for mine for the pillars and take off the back bumper to add the brackets to hold in place during high speeds etc. it has the standard E-Ray one originally so it was taken out.

Regarding Richard’s point and his type of wing, I concur with what you already told him. I also checked with another C8 that installed what seems to be an identical to that link above, you won’t have to drill anything, it fits accordingly to the original spoiler.

Ah I thought that was an gm oem.. Thanks for pointing that out, I'm not looking for a 3rd party part.
I've got the part numbers off here I'll order one from (or try) from a corvette dealer. It will have to go to paint.. So I'll get the body shop to fit it.. That's the plan anyway.. Thanks

I might have got it wrong above? I see that ACS Composites ad above has a "GM Genuine Parts" logo in it and they talk about it being a "OEM+ Upgrade". So maybe that is a genuine OEM spoiler, not a replica?

It is a gm part and they tell me its about 4 hrs workshop time to fit.. So with buying, paint, shipping, import duty and fit the total cost would be about £2,000.. I think I'm going to do it.. Will keep you all posted. Thanks
