Went out in the garage to continue New Year tidy up and unearthed my old Viceroy polisher. So away I went.
The C1 threshold plates were badly scratched so with the DA sander started with 320 grit and worked up to 3000 grit then on the polishing mop. Each threshold plate took 40 minutes and a good way to keep warm. The windshield upper stainless took about 3 minutes as it had no scratches on it just a bit dull, same for lower stainless trim.
The plate on the left is untouched at first. Third pic shows it after 320 grit to remove scratches.
