1975 C3 TH400

My 1975 C3 L48 has a TH 400 auto transmission. Was this standard for that year?

I think I’m correct in saying the TH400 was only fitted to big blocks with SBC getting the TH350.

I think the th400 was in corvettes up to 1976 on sbc cars

Here is the list of available transmissions from an NCRS C3 Specs Guide:

- TH400 was used with all engines up to and including 1975
- For 1976 & 1977, TH350 used with L48 and TH400 used with L82
- For 1978 through 1981 the TH350 was the only auto trans available
- 1982 has the 700-R4
